Diabetes Management Center

The Diabetes Management Center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association and is staffed by Diabetes Nurse Educators and a dietitian. The Center provides individual and group education that teaches the person(s) the knowledge and skills needed to manage their diabetes on a daily basis. Understanding the relationship between medical nutritional therapy, activity, medications, emotional and physical status, and blood glucose levels will empower the patient to respond appropriately to achieve and maintain optimal glucose control.
