Children's Services

The Pediatric Unit serves the inpatient needs of children from up to 17. The staff has significant experience with asthma and other respiratory diagnoses, diabetes, and orthopedics, but is trained and prepared to handle all acute and chronic childhood illnesses.

The unit includes two rooms where children can be monitored remotely with state-of-the-art Space Lab monitoring systems. All registered nurses in the unit are certified in neonatal advanced life support and pediatric advanced life support and have completed a nursing trauma course. The nursing staff also understands the importance of working with children and their families to provide them with the information and instruction they need for each child's successful treatment and recovery.
