Student Nurse Program (STEP)

The Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) is a key component of the student nurse's learning process, providing valuable hands-on experience while serving as a student nurse aide, transcription clerk or telemetry tech. The student nurse will work beside experienced nurses and staff while interacting with patients and families. The STEP students provide valuable help to the hospital staff, providing patient care as relief employees. Flexible schedules can accommodate a student’s school commitments.
